Picnic Time

Do you know what you get if you google picnic? Wikipedi gives you this. Kinda funny, if I say so myself.  So here's Updated D from last post.  

We, Matt and I, went on a picnic.  And according to the previous definition, I feel like it met all the requirements, or at least most of them.  It was a pleasure excursion where we ate a meal outside, in a beautiful landscape.   There was no lake, but we ate by a creek, that should count, shouldn't it?  And the interesting view: people playing baseball, an old man taking a walk, and a couple taking engagements.  Yup, pretty sure it fits the description.

It was so fun to just sit and enjoy the summer.  There weather was perfect. Beautiful blue skies.  And staring up at the tress was so delightful.  Matt calls this earthing/grounding yourself.  Every so often you just have to connect with Mother Earth.  It's quite nice to just relax and enjoying the outdoors.  

That's just one of the amazing dates I've been on lately.  It's really made me enjoy this summer, so part of me doesn't want summer to end.   It's really given me something to delight in!
