Chocolate.... It's a food group

CHOCOLATE!


Chocolate, it seriously should be it's own food group.  It's something that you can always count on.  Good or bad day, it's there for you. Plus, it comes in so many forms.... cake, pudding, bars, melted, in cookies, and today favorite milk!!!


Today while studying, and might I add, last week while studying, I made myself a delicious cup of chocolate milk! It was just delicious! Plus, these two particular glasses of chocolate milk had the perfect, chocolate powder to milk ratio.  You know what ratio I am talking about, the same ratio as chips to salsa, milk to cereal, etc.  The one that you never get right, always adding more chips to plate to eat the rest of your salsa, needing more cereal because there is too much milk left in your bowl, and finally giving in and drinking the rest of your milk.  These two glasses of  milk were PERFECTO! I mean so good that once I made an initial conclusion of how much Nesquik to put into the glass of milk, I didn't have to add more once I stirred it and tasted. Amazing I know! 




Another plus of chocolate is that it can be good for you..... Below are some fun facts that I learned about Nesquik (Courtesy of the back of the Nesquik can)




Nesquik + Milk = more calcium than milk alone
Which calcium = strong bones
Nesquik = less sugar than other chocolate syrup brands, other powder brands, and juice drinks
It has a long shelf life = good for college students

Oh a fun fact I just found.... There are directions on the side of the can for the perfect glass of chocolate milk. So now your worries about the Milk to chocolate ratio are over too.  Phew!!! That was a close one.
